I am coming into some new ways of thinking thanks to Robert Cain and some valuable advice. It is so hard to stay up to date and top of things. I also think that exposure to things that you don’t necessarily deal with on a day to day basis just helps you with your day to day. We make technology choices all the time and it would be unwise to not look at all your possible options but how do you do that? Exposure is the key. Podcasts are the way that I intend on staying exposed when I don’t have time for exposure!
List of suggestions for me provided by Robert Cain:
Audio
This Week in Tech – Weekly show where they discuss the latest happenings in the tech industry
Windows Weekly – Weekly show focusing on all things Microsoft

Buzz Out Loud – Daily 30-40 minute podcast on Tech
PCMagRadio – Weekly 30 minute show from PC Magazine on tech
Video
Cranky Geeks – Weekly 30 minute show where experts discuss tech (slightly more cerebral than the other casts that just talk about tech)
GeekBriefTV – Daily 5 minute cast on tech toys
WebbReport – Daily 5 minute on tech news
Channel 10 – Generic news from Microsoft, less developer focused than Channel 9 - (which is all developers)
Channel 8 – Another Microsoft show geared toward students
