I am coming into some new ways of thinking thanks to Robert Cain and some valuable advice. It is so hard to stay up to date and top of things. I also think that exposure to things that you don’t necessarily deal with on a day to day basis just helps you with your day to day. We make technology choices all the time and it would be unwise to not look at all your possible options but how do you do that? Exposure is the key. Podcasts are the way that I intend on staying exposed when I don’t have time for exposure!

Windows Weekly – Weekly show focusing on all things Microsoft

Security Now – Even if you are not a security geek, you will understand this show and get some valuable tips

Tech5 – daily 5 minute podcast on tech

Buzz Out Loud – Daily 30-40 minute podcast on Tech

PCMagRadio – Weekly 30 minute show from PC Magazine on tech

Cranky Geeks – Weekly 30 minute show where experts discuss tech (slightly more cerebral than the other casts that just talk about tech)

GeekBriefTV – Daily 5 minute cast on tech toys

WebbReport – Daily 5 minute on tech news

Channel 10 – Generic news from Microsoft, less developer focused than Channel 9 - (which is all developers)

Channel 8 – Another Microsoft show geared toward students

Tekzilla – They have a weekly 30 minute show and daily 1 minute show, separate subscriptions. Note they also have an HD format and smaller format. If you are going to watch hooked on TV, get HD, otherwise get smaller.
