It's my new best friend in Outlook. And the power is intoxicating. Yes I said it.

I love being a PC. :)

Updated: Outlook Productivity Tip

How often do you go to find something in your Outlook by a particular person? Like I need to see an email conversation between me and Vendor X...I used to go and search my inbox, sent items, etc...I would sort by name, filter by whatever in order to drill down just to that person! This eats your time alive.

Do this instead:

Go to the Contact record stored in your Contacts; click Activities.

(In Outlook 2003, there is a tab called "Activities")

(FYI: there must be an email for the contact record.)

Tip: If you often move things by people to a different folder then you can simply highlight all of these and drag them into the folder of your choice.

Who uses Outlook for Reporting? If you don't you might start.

Interested? If you currently use Outlook for any of your tracking reports then you really should try this tip out!

Items inside of any folder can exported to a CSV (Comma seperated value file), Microsoft Excel, and several others.

For your brave at hearts...Go to the File menu (in Outlook) and select Import and Export, follow the wizard. (Great for tracking appts, emails and tasks).
